This session focuses ways that teachers can serve neurodiverse students in the STEM integrated classroom. It begins with a focus on the meaning of neurodiversity and the origins of this term. The session moves to focus on current trends in STEM teaching and learning, particularly on integrating STEM pedagogy across content areas. From there the session will help participants explore a strengths-based approach to teaching and how this approach could be used to help neurodiverse students find their place in the STEM classroom.
